Suboxone Treatment
I will be going in to see my Suboxone Doctor on Tuesday, Aug. 28. There are no doctors in the panhandle so I’ll be driving down to Wichita Falls. What a nightmare.
For anyone reading this, who is addicted to painkillers such as Vicodin, percocet or any of the other good narcotic painkillers, I suggest you check out this website http://buprenorphine.samhsa.gov/bwns_locator/index.html to find a Suboxone doctor. I did it, and it was the best thing I’ve ever done for myself.
I myself have gone thru detox from other drugs as well, including alcohol. From my experience I was most fearful about entering Suboxone Treatment. I no longer wanted to be in pain from the addiction itself. But, I was extremelly worried and afraid of experienceing the withdraw syptoms that had almost killed me on several occasions before. This fear almost caused me to not enter Suboxone Treatment.
Most Suboxone Doctors will tell you to go thru a mild withdrawal before starting Suboxone. I just told the doc that I had been off opiates for 2 days and got my first month supply of Suboxone. When I started taking it I was so relieved that it was actually working. I had no withdrawals from the opiates I had been on for so many years, and no pain. What a miracle drug Suboxone is.
